LIFFICK, Donald 56 of East Gate died Friday Oct. 7, 2011 from injuries sustained in an accidental fall. Visitation is Thursday 6-9 PM and funeral on Friday at 11 AM at Clough United Methodist Church 2010 Wolfangel Road Cincinnati, OH 45255. Donald Lee Liffick passed away in Batavia, Ohio on October 7th, 2011. He was born on April 11th, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Doris Liffick. Don attended Beavercreek City Schools after which he began his career in food service at Red Lobster. Dons hard work and ambition led him to obtain various positions at ARA and University Hospital before his most recent supervisory position at The Christ Hospital. Above all, Don was a family man. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. By far, Fall was his favorite season. Don was an avid and skilled outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He loved playing, watching and coaching his kids in sports. Second only to his family, being in nature was his greatest passion. Don is survived by his loving wife, Cherie, and five children; Joel (Megan), Tyler, Trent (Jenni), Adrienne (Zac) and Jaimie. He is also survived by his father, Joe (Barb), two brothers Mike (Lisa) and Jeff (Robyn), three step-brothers Rob, Rodger and Ronnie, grandchildren Jayden, Aubree, Eli, Zeke, Faith, with 2 more on the way, as well as his many nieces and nephews across the country. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2011. The memorial service will be held at 11:000 am on Friday, October 14, 2011. Both services will be located at Clough United Methodist Church located at 2010 Wolfangel Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45255. Memorial donations may be made to the Ohio Department of Wildlife (ODNR).
