KANE, Robert George age 54 of Yellow Springs, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernadine Kane. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Kane; children, Joshua Porter and Holly (Robert) Cronin; sisters, Cheryl Shope, Carolyn (William) Johnson, Sheila (Steve) Maloy and Mary (Tom) Brodowski; brother John (Julie) Kane; father and mother in-law, James and Helen McNeill; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in-law and special friends, Michael and Kimberly Duncan. Robert retired from the Ohio Masonic Home. He had many interests including; restoring antique tractors, woodworking and carpentry, skiing, hiking, writing and instructing scuba diving at Wright State University. Robert was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday, March 20 at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd., on Saturday, March 20 at 10 am with Fr. Terry Schneider, celebrant. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall RD.
