Rick Freeze died in summer, 1995, after contracting meningitis  from one of his patients.  He was a family practitioner in San Antonio, Texas.  After attending the University of Dayton, he graduated from Ohio State's medical school in 1981 and did his residency in Texas.  We both started classes at Fairbrook, and shared many good times in band and classes, and at Ohio State our times overlapped.  I remember watching him at diving meets and as a cheerleader at UD.  He helped my group of social work grad students get first dibs on the 5-bedroom house he and other medical and dental students rented near campus their last year. (We still had one more year to go.)  In 1993 he and I attended our first B'creek Reunion in honor of Brad Eaton's passing that year.  Little did I know that he would be gone so soon after that.....  I miss him.

Who could EVER forget the re-inactment of THE BALLAD OF BONNIE AND CLYDE?!  I think we performed that at different events, at least 10 times! I too regret not keeping in touch, just like a lot of my friends, they had bigger fish to fry and I was just destined to me maried with children.  Fond Memories
